Available scan body specifications include Ø4.0 mm, Ø4.5 mm, and Ø4.8 mm, with different emergence height options. The products must be used with the corresponding CAD database and restorative components. They are suitable for purchase by dental clinics, dental laboratories, digital design centers, and dental implant component distributors.

Which implant diameters correspond to the TS Mini and Regular platforms?
The Osstem TS Mini platform is generally used with Ø3.0 mm and Ø3.5 mm TS implants. The TS Regular platform is generally used with TS implants of Ø4.0 mm or larger.
The implant diameter should only be used as supporting information. Final selection must be based on the prosthetic connection and implant model.
Are these scan bodies designed for implant-level scanning?
Why does your scan body look different from the original Osstem scan body?
Because we are an independent third-party dental implant component manufacturer and our components are compatible with more than one brand, designing them all according to original manufacturer specifications would create the following problems:
1.The shapes would vary widely and lack distinctive design characteristics, making it impossible to distinguish which company designed a given scan body.
2.If we followed original scan body designs, extensibility would be limited (for example, extended-length designs might not be achievable).
Can it be used for both intraoral and model scanning?
The scan body can be used in compatible intraoral and laboratory model-scanning workflows. For intraoral scanning, it is connected directly to the implant in the patient’s mouth. For model scanning, it is connected to the corresponding implant analog in the working model. Compatibility should be confirmed according to the selected scan body reference, scanner and CAD library.
What information should I provide before ordering?
To help us identify the correct scan body, please provide the following information:
1.Implant brand and series;
2.Restorative connection type: Osstem-R or Osstem-M;
3.Specific specifications of the required components;
4.Quantity required;
Alternatively, you can discuss the details once our technical staff contacts you.
