Interface Standards
Matching Transfer Coping
Provide the implant model, and we will match the appropriate standard analog and matching transfer coping for you.
Conventional openātray impression
Used with an openātray transfer coping; the analog is screwāretained in the impression and poured with stone to obtain an accurate model.
Closedātray impression
The transfer coping is removed from the impression together with the analog, connected to the analog, and then the model is poured ā simple and efficient.
Shouldered type positioning
Laboratory model restoration
Repeated tryāin of abutments, wax patterns, and metal frameworks on the stone model requires the analog to be wearāresistant and dimensionally stable.
ā» The shouldered analog allows more precise control of the embedment depth, preventing stone from entering the abutment interface.
āThe analog interface accuracy is excellent. The resulting stone model requires no adjustment to the abutment ā saves time and effort.ā
āāāāA dental lab in Guangzhou
āThe shouldered design works very well ā no tilting of the analog during pouring. Highly recommended.ā

Free analog sample kit (one standard + one shouldered) ā Exclusive for dental labs.
A patient with 6 maxillary implants ā used openātray transfer copings with analogs for impression taking. The resulting stone model showed analog position deviations of less than 0.02 mm. The final framework seated completely passive without any adjustments.
After the lab switched to shouldered analogs, repeated measurement of embedment depth was no longer needed. Stone pouring speed increased by 30%, and issues with abutments failing to seat due to overāembedment have never occurred since.
What is the difference between standard and shouldered analogs?
The standard analog has a straight cylindrical shape and relies entirely on the stone for retention. The shouldered analog features a positioning shoulder at the midāsection, which precisely controls embedment depth, prevents stone from entering the interface, and ensures more consistent positioning with repeated pouring.
Can the analog be reused?
Stainless steel analogs can be reused (up to 20 times recommended). After each use, they should be ultrasonically cleaned and inspected for wear on the interface. PEEK analogs are recommended for single use.
What is the recommended torque for the analog central screw?
Recommended torque is 25ā35 N·cm, the same as the clinical abutment screw. Repeated use may cause thread wear; it is recommended to replace the screw every 5 uses.
Do you provide matching transfer copings?
Yes, we offer both openātray and closedātray transfer copings that fully match the analog interface. Please let us know your impression method.
Can the analog be used with 3Dāprinted models?
Yes. However, for 3Dāprinted models, it is recommended to use machinable PEEK analogs or metal analogs with a positioning base to ensure seating accuracy.
