Product Description

Product Overview

īž¤ An implant-supported multilayer monolithic zirconia crown is a fixed all-ceramic crown used in single- or multiple-unit implant restorations. Made from pre-shaded multilayer zirconia using CAD/CAM digital design and milling from a single blank, it provides natural transitions in shade and translucency from the cervical region through the crown body to the incisal edge.

īž¤ Depending on the treatment plan, the zirconia crown can be paired with a Ti-Base, custom abutment, or stock abutment to create a screw-retained or cement-retained implant restoration. Combining zirconia’s structural strength and wear resistance with the lifelike shade gradients of multilayer material, it is suitable for anterior, premolar, and molar implant restorations.

Key Benefits

1·Natural Multilayer Shade Gradients

Multilayer zirconia provides gradual transitions in shade and translucency from the cervical region to the incisal edge, offering greater visual depth than conventional monochromatic zirconia crowns.

2·Monolithic Zirconia Structure
The crown body is milled from a single zirconia blank without extensive porcelain veneering, helping reduce the risk of veneering porcelain chipping.
3·Multiple Implant Restorative Options
The crown can be paired with a Ti-Base, stock abutment, or custom abutment to support screw-retained or cement-retained designs.

Retention Options for Implant-Supported Zirconia Crowns

Implant-supported zirconia crowns require a Ti-Base or implant abutment to connect to the implant. Depending on the connection and retention method, two main configurations are available:
1. Screw-Retained Restoration

Component arrangement: Implant → Ti-Base / implant abutment → Zirconia crown, secured with a prosthetic screw.

Workflow: The technician bonds the zirconia crown to the Ti-Base outside the mouth, creating a single restorative assembly. During clinical placement, the dentist secures the assembly to the implant or a multi-unit abutment (MUA) with a prosthetic screw, depending on the component system.

2. Cement-Retained Restoration
Component arrangement : Implant → Stock or custom abutment → Zirconia crown.
Workflow : The dentist first secures the abutment to the implant with an abutment screw. The zirconia crown is then cemented onto the abutment intraorally using a suitable dental luting cement.

Material Options

Germany-VITA

The material features five naturally graded layers, with strength ranging from 800 to 1200 MPa to support a wide range of restorative indications.

Translucency gradually increases from 42% in the cervical region to 49% at the incisal edge.

The higher incisal translucency recreates the light-transmitting qualities of natural enamel, while the lower cervical translucency provides effective masking of the underlying tooth shade.

Digital Fabrication Workflow

At the heart of modern manufacturing, our company stands as a beacon of innovation and excellence, proudly offering cutting-edge CNC laser cutting machines.

Our products are meticulusly designed to meet the diverse needs of industries striving for precision, efficiency, and versatility.

STEP 1

Case Submission

We receive the customer’s intraoral or model scan files and confirm the tooth numbers, requested shade, restoration type, bite registration, and specific fabrication requirements.

STEP 2

Case Review

Our technicians will review data completeness, preparation margins, available occlusal clearance, proximal areas, and the path of insertion. Any missing information or questions about the case are clarified with the customer before design begins.

STEP 3

CAD Design

The crown contours, margins, proximal contacts, occlusal contacts, and surface anatomy are designed according to the prescription.

STEP 4

CAM Milling

An appropriate zirconia disc is selected based on the tooth position, requested shade, and material requirements. The restoration is then digitally nested within the disc and milled.

STEP 5

Sintering and Esthetic Finishing

After sintering, the zirconia restoration undergoes staining, glazing, polishing, and individual characterization as needed to achieve the requested shade and meet the case requirements.

STEP 6

Quality Inspection & Packaging

Each restoration is inspected to verify tooth numbers and case information, marginal integrity, internal fit, proximal and occlusal contacts, shade, surface quality, and the absence of cracks, chips, or other defects. Once approved, it is cleaned, labeled with its case identification, and securely packaged for shipment.

Indications

Single-tooth implant restorations in the anterior region;

Single-tooth implant restorations in the premolar region;

Single-tooth implant restorations in the molar region;

Implant crowns supported by a Ti-Base;

Crowns supported by stock or custom abutments;

Screw-retained implant restorations;

Cement-retained implant restorations;

Cases requiring strength, wear resistance, and natural tooth shades;

Cases where conventional monochromatic zirconia crowns do not meet esthetic expectations;

Selected short-span implant-supported fixed bridges.

The suitability of highly translucent or multilayer zirconia should be assessed based on tooth position, occlusal load, material strength, crown thickness, the underlying abutment shade, and the material manufacturer’s specified indications.
