KT Trilink
ī¤ The prosthesis is suitable for All-on-4, All-on-6, and other full-arch fixed treatment concepts supported by multiple implants. The clinician should determine the implant number, abutment platform, framework material, and crown material based on the patientās available bone, implant positions, occlusal conditions, and restorative space.
Fixed Full-Arch Restoration
Secured to implant abutments with prosthetic screws, with no need for daily removal by the patient.
Individual Crown Design
Each crownās shape, shade, and position can be customized to create a more natural, lifelike tooth arrangement.
Easy Maintenance and Repair
The clinician can remove the entire prosthesis by loosening the prosthetic screws. Some designs also allow damaged crowns to be replaced individually.
·Independent adjustment of each crownās shade and contours;

We receive upper and lower arch scans, implant position data, bite registration, facial and intraoral photographs, provisional restoration data, and the laboratory prescription. Our technicians then check implant platforms, scan bodies, the occlusal vertical dimension, available restorative space, implant distribution, and data completeness.
Digital tooth setup and prosthetic gingival design are completed based on the patientās facial features, smile line, midline, lip support, and occlusion.
Depending on the case, a resin tooth setup, PMMA prototype, or framework try-in may be arranged to assess fit, tooth arrangement, speech, occlusion, and esthetics.
The framework is designed and fabricated using CAD/CAM based on the approved design, then checked for passive fit.
Each crown is individually designed and fabricated, followed by sintering, staining, glazing, or crystallization, as appropriate for the selected material. After the crowns are fitted to the framework, gingival composite is applied and contoured to reproduce natural gingival form and color.
We inspect framework fit, screw access channels, crown contours, occlusion, tooth and gingival shades, surface quality, and case information. The completed prosthesis is then cleaned, securely packaged, and shipped.
- Patients with complete edentulism in both arches;
- Patients with a fully edentulous upper or lower arch;
- Patients with non-restorable remaining teeth who are scheduled for full-arch rehabilitation;
- Cases requiring All-on-4 or All-on-6 fixed restorations;
- Patients seeking a fixed restoration who prefer to avoid long-term use of removable dentures;
- Cases requiring replacement of both missing teeth and gingival tissue;
- Cases requiring improvements in mastication, speech, dental esthetics, and lip support;
- Patients with multiple implants already placed who are ready for a definitive prosthesis.
What is a Malo Bridge?
A Malo Bridge is a fixed implant-supported prosthesis for restoring a fully edentulous upper or lower arch, or both arches. Its typical structure includes a custom framework, individual crowns, and lifelike prosthetic gingiva. It is secured to implants or multi-unit abutments (MUAs) with prosthetic screws.
Designed for full-arch implant rehabilitation, a Malo Bridge replaces missing teeth and restores gingival contours, occlusion, and lip support.
Are a Malo Bridge and All-on-4 the same thing?
They refer to different aspects of treatment.
All-on-4 describes a treatment concept in which four implants support a fixed full-arch prosthesis. Malo Bridge describes the structure of the definitive prosthesis fitted over the implants.
A Malo Bridge can be used in All-on-4 cases, as well as All-on-5, All-on-6, or other full-arch restorations supported by multiple implants, depending on the treatment plan. While All-on-4 typically uses four implants, All-on-X protocols may involve additional implants based on available bone, arch length, occlusal load, and the selected restorative materials.
How does a Malo Bridge differ from a monolithic zirconia bridge?
Malo Bridges and monolithic zirconia bridges differ significantly in structural design and clinical application. In terms of structure and materials, a Malo Bridge combines a metal framework, individual all-ceramic crowns, and prosthetic gingiva. A monolithic zirconia bridge, by contrast, has its teeth and main body milled as a single structure, primarily from zirconia.
These structural differences affect maintenance and adjustment. Individually fabricated crowns on a Malo Bridge can allow localized repair or replacement if damage occurs, depending on the design. Each crown can also be individually contoured to refine its esthetics. A monolithic zirconia bridge is generally more challenging to repair locally, and its esthetic appearance relies mainly on the overall design and surface staining.
Weight also varies with the design and materials. A Malo Bridge may be lighter, depending on its framework and crown materials, while a monolithic zirconia bridge can be relatively heavier.
Can an individual crown be repaired or replaced?
With an individual crown design, a damaged or worn crown can be repaired or replaced in some cases without remaking the entire framework.
Whether a crown can be removed individually depends on:
- The connection between the crown and framework;
- Interproximal contacts;
- The extent of prosthetic gingival coverage;
- The location of the damage;
- Whether the framework is distorted;
- Whether the prosthesis can be removed intact.
For this reason, the recommended product-page wording is āsupports easier individual crown repair or replacementā, rather than a guarantee that every crown can be replaced in all circumstances.
Is a Malo Bridge a provisional or definitive restoration?
A Malo Bridge is typically used as a definitive fixed prosthesis.
During implant surgery or healing, the patient may initially receive a PMMA or resin provisional bridge. Once osseointegration is complete and the soft tissues and occlusion are stable, a definitive Malo Bridge with a titanium framework and individual all-ceramic crowns can be fabricated.
Provisional and definitive bridges differ in materials, structure, fit, and intended use and should not be presented as the same product. Full-arch treatment commonly progresses from a fixed provisional bridge to a definitive prosthesis once the tissues have stabilized.
